When I was first looking for a tutor for chemistry, I thought that learning Chemistry was a lost cause and that I could never be good at it. I decided to give tutoring a try though, and I ended up not only doing really well in the class, but also realizing that I had a passion for chemistry that I never thought I would have. After being in tutoring for close to a year, I both felt confident with the material and confident in my ability to figure out the answers to questions that needed more problem solving. Throughout the entire year of my stressful first chemistry class, Madison continued to be a huge support to me, motivating me to do well and passing on her love of the subject to me. Solely because of her help I was able to then score a 4 on my AP Chemistry test the following year, boosting my confidence and making me decide to be a Mechanical Engineer with a minor in Chemistry. If anything, I want people to know the impact that Madison has had on my life and the passion that she has instilled in me, allowing me to be a future chemist. Whether the tutoring be in chemistry or some other subject, Madison is a great tutor that will not only help students learn the information quickly and efficiently, but also pass on her love for the subject to the people in which she is teaching, possibly opening up a new pathway that no one would have guessed was there otherwise. Just like me, a little kid might have crossed chemistry off his/her list of possible future pathways simply because the teaching style of the school wasn’t able to give room for the kids to find their passion for it. With Madison’s help, these kids can find a passion that they would have never thought of before, allowing for an excited and motivated student with a clear (or at least beginning) path for their future.
